Suspicious Device Left Near Ocean County Courthouse, Causing Public Alarm: Prosecutor A 36-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been charged with causing a false public alarm after placing a suspicious device near the Ocean County Courthouse, authorities said. David Giordano, of Toms River, was charged in the incident that occurred on Saturday, Feb. 6, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
