Police recovered a gun in his girlfriend’s car that Malik Conley, 27, of Newark, used in the second holdup last December in Belleville, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said. State Troopers, Firefighters, Others Hurt In Chain-Reaction Crash On 280 In West Orange A number of first responders were injured in a chain-reaction crash on Route 280 in West Orange Tuesday morning.  Three New Jersey State Police troopers, two West Orange police officers and five township firefighters were among several people injured Tuesday morning when a dump truck plowed into an ambulance, sending it crashing into a fire engine, authorities said.
