Family and friends are mourning the loss of a 19-year-old Rutgers University nursing student killed in a weekend crash.
Jessica "Jessy" Molina-Colmenares, of Egg Harbor Township, is being remembered as a gentle, intelligent, and caring young woman, having just finished her first year as a nursing student at Rutgers University her obituary says.
Jessica, who had dreams of becoming a traveling nurse, was riding in a Honda Civic that veered off the Garden State Parkway and overturned at about 6:30 p.m. in Stafford Township on Saturday, July 15, Daily Voice reported.

Dean’s List nursing student, devoted New Jersey mother and business owner Ashley Marie Holloway died unexpectedly on Monday, July 25 — just one day after her 25th birthday.
Born in Trenton, Ashley graduated from Lawrence High School, her obituary says.
Ashley went on to attend the Culinary Art Institute of Philadelphia, and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years, her memorial says.
Ashley had also made the Dean’s List at the Lincoln Technical Institute, where she was continuing her nursing studies.

UPDATE: A contract nurse who fled after authorities said he set a 54-year-old colleague at Hackensack University Medical Center on fire was found dead of suicide in South Jersey, authorities said.
The body of Nicholas Pagano, 31, of West Deptford was found in a wooded area of Waterford Township, in Camden County, a two-hour drive of more than 100 miles from Hackensack, early Tuesday, Feb. 8, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
He'd shot himself once in the chest, apparently with a gun that had been stolen from his brother's home, law enforcement sources said.
