Lawsuit: Family Of Fort Lee Grad Fatally Struck By Taxi Want Change In NYC, Report Says The family of a Fort Lee High School graduate who was fatally struck by a cab last February in New York City want change -- and they're starting with a lawsuit. Sherena Hundalini, 26, was struck by a Lincoln Town Car driven by Lakhvinder Singh while standing on the sidewalk near 63rd Drive and Queens Boulevard. Singh,  whose cab license is currently suspended, fled the scene but was stopped at a nearby intersection shortly after and taken into custody. Rankings: Passaic County Schools Scored Among Top 50 In State New Jersey released its grades for public schools, ranking each one on a scale of 0 to 100.  Nineteen schools in Bergen, Morris and Passaic counties scored among the top 50 in the state. Critics say the ratings are "oversimplified" and state officials say the grades aren't a fair representation of all that a school has to offer. The grades were based on four-year graduation rate, five-year graduation rate, progress toward English language proficiency, English proficiency, math proficiency and chronic absenteeism.
