The 1-year-old pittie mix currently at the Bergen County Animal Shelter was licking peanut butter off of the spatula, when the tip broke off and he swallowed that, too. The pup had to undergo surgery and spent a good while recovering, but is now healthy and ready for adoption. Midland Park Dog With Cancer Returns Home UPDATE: A Midland Park dog who went missing this week in Glen Rock has been found. ** ORIGINAL STORY ** A second dog has gone missing this week in Bergen County -- this time in the Fair Lawn/Glen Rock area. The Midland Park owners are withholding the dog's name because he is very skittish and will run if approached or called out to. He has shaved front legs and was lost on Friday morning after undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Glen Rock. He was last seen near his vet on Prospect Street and Saddle River Road.
