Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Police ID 66-Year-Old Man Killed In Landover Hills Crash Police have identified the 66-year-old Hyattsville man killed in a crash in Landover Hills. Officers were called to the area of Annapolis Road and Cooper Lane to investigate a two-vehicle crash that killed Michael Ray Sr. around 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 5. Investigators say that Ray was driving east on Annapolis Road when he was struck by a westbound vehicle as he attempted to turn onto Cooper Road. Ray was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two passengers in Ray's vehicle and the second driver were also treated for injuries and are expected to survive…

Bruno Mars To Headline Preakness Live Grammy Award winning artist Bruno Mars is set to headline the Preakness Stakes next month at Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course. Bruno Mars first headlined the Preakness 11 years ago and will be joined by Sofi Tukker, DJ Chantel Jeffries, Martin 2 Smoove, and several more artists for the May 20 event. The Preakness Stakes is the second leg in the famous triple crown races, just two weeks after the Kentucky Derby.  Preakness Live will begin around 10:30 a.m. on the day of the race. Concern Grows For Missing Autistic Baltimore Man Baltimore police are asking for the public's help in locating an autistic man who was last seen earlier this week. Keineth Taylor was last seen in the 6300 block of McClean Boulevard around 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, according to Baltimore Police. Police are classifying Taylor as a vulnerable adult and are urging anyone who has seen him to contact Baltimore police by calling 911.

Michael Paul Ozalas was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 22 after Anne Arundel County Police connected him to the vandalism that had occurred at the Masonic Lodge on Crain Highway on Monday, March 13. Ezequiel Romualdo-Alcantara, 39, was killed while walking along the 6600 block of Annapolis Road around 1 a.m., Sunday, March 26, according to Prince George's County police. Uncle, Nephew Killed In Murder-Suicide In Front Of Family At Glen Burnie Home Two men are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Glen Burnie, authorities say. Anne Arundel County Police were called to the 7300 block of Red Pond Court to investigate a disturbance around 10 p.m., Wednesday, April 5.  When police arrived at the scene, they heard multiple gunshots and observed several people running out of a nearby home. Officers entered the home to find the body of 47-year-old Kofi Frempong, who had been fatally shot by his nephew Daniel Amponsah, 27. Amponsah was also found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
