Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Newark Man Sentenced For Role In $3M Credit Card Fraud Another ringleader in a scheme to steal millions of dollars from banks using false identities was sentenced Friday to seven years in prison, the state Attorney General's Office said.  Aqeel Sheikh, 58, of Newark,  had previously pleaded guilty to money laundering and conspiracy. Sheikh was part of a scheme in which identities were created using stolen Social Security numbers coupled with phony names and birth dates. Clifton Man Intentionally Placed Nails, Screws On Nutley Street, Police Say A Clifton man has been accused of deliberately dropping sharp objects on streets in Nutley since at least August, police said.  Adrian Sanchez, 54, was arrested Friday after police said he threw a snowball packed with about 90 nails and screws at Kingsland Street and Windsor Place. Newark To Honor City Native, Boxing Champ Shakur Stevenson Featherweight boxing champion Shakur Stevenson will be getting a warm welcome from his hometown of Newark during a ceremony planned for Saturday, Mayor Ras Baraka said in a statement.  Stevenson, with a 13-0 professional record, won the World Boxing Organization belt in a 12-round bout in Las Vegas in October.
