According to northjersey.com, the $42,500 study will determine whether the buildings of West Milford High, Macopin Middle, Marshall Hill Elementary and Westbrook Elementary Schools can handle 35,000 combined square feet of solar panels.

The proposed project is being considered for fall 2016 after a proposed replacement of the roofs at the high and middle schools.
