The developer of 47-unit townhouse project in Wanaque is appealing a stop work order issued by the borough in December, NorthJersey.com reports.
The Lakeside Manor project was declared dead last year when developer Jacinto Rodrigues failed to meet a key deadline, the article says.
It was named the "horror" townhouse project by a resident, as the houses were left "abandoned, unfinished and dilapidated," according to the report.
Rosdrigues, who owns Sumo Enterprises, has a hearing with the appeals board scheduled for Feb. 22, NorthJersey.com says.
