After 34 years in business, a South Jersey diner is closing its doors. The Frangos family announced that their Gateway Diner, located on Broadway near Route 47 in Westville, will shutter on Sunday, Oct. 22. These NJ Communities Violated LGBTQ+ Marriage License Rules: AG
Twenty-eight municipalities statewide have been cited by New Jersey officials for excluding the LGBTQIA+ community in their online marriage license applications. The municipalities face fines of up to $10,000 if they don't fix the problem, the state said. Attorney General Matthew J. Authorities have identified the two people killed in the double-decker Megabus overturn on the NJ Turnpike Tuesday, Aug. 9, authorities said. Cheryl Johnson, 59, of Bronx, N.Y., was pronounced dead at the scene, while Cecilia Kiyanitza, 66, of Woodbury, N.J. was airlifted to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Female Paterson police posing as prostitutes bagged 27 johns, while their male colleagues snatched up 14 streetwalkers who offered them sex for money, authorities said. Citizen complaints about an open-air prostitution market drove ABC/Vice unit detectives to work both sides of the street, city Police Director Jerry Speziale said. Dozens of men who flocked to a notorious Paterson neighborhood looking for hookers were surprised – and arrested – when some of the streetwalkers turned out to be undercover city police officers.
