Charges have been upgraded for a Bergen County teen who was going 60 miles per hour in a residential zone when he killed a mother outside of her own home, authorities said. Alexander Vargas, of Bogota, was 17 at the time of the Jan. 25 crash when he struck a 2022 Nissan Rogue driven by Dymond T. Police 'Overwhelmed' By Support For Teaneck Family Displaced By Fire
TEANECK, N.J. -- The Teaneck PBA is overwhelmed by the community's support for a family that lost nearly all of its belongings in a fire over the weekend. The organization started a clothing drive for the Schreck family of five on Sunday, and state delegate Charlie Antinori said three carloads of donations have been brought to them as of Monday afternoon. TEANECK, N.J. -- Authorities found the bodies of an elderly Teaneck couple killed when a fire roared through their home hours early Sunday, multiple law enforcement sources told Daily Voice.
