A 16-year-old driver and three teenage companions were captured by police following an overnight stolen car pursuit Wednesday that began in Paramus and ended in a crash just up the road in Wyckoff. Paramus Police Officer Slavko Bajovic saw the driver pull a ski mask over his face as he drove a 2018 Hyundai Elantra west on Route 4 shortly after 1:30 a.m. June 21, Police Chief Robert Guidetti said. Raging Overnight Fire Destroys River Edge Home
Sections of a River Edge home collapsed during a vicious overnight fire. A dog was killed in the blaze on Eastbrook Drive, near Forest Avenue and Route 4, at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, May 27, according to neighbors. No injuries were otherwise reported. A horrific early rush-hour crash on Route 4 in Teaneck on Thursday sent a motorist to the hospital, authorities confirmed.
