Babysitter Falls Through Floor Of Ridgewood Home, Child OK
A babysitter was hospitalized after partially falling through the floor of a single-family Ridgewood home under renovation. The young boy wasn't hospitalized at the father's wishes after members of the Ridgewood Ambulance Corps checked him out following the incident on Prospect Street early Friday afternoon, Feb. 18. The adult sitter's leg had fallen through the floor, responders said. She was taken to The Valley Hospital. Sedans Collide At Busy Ridgewood Intersection
Two sedans were heavily damaged in a collision in Ridgewood. A family in one vehicle appeared fine while the driver of the other apparently sustained an arm injury in the Thursday afternoon crash at Prospect Street and Maple Avenue. A summons was issued to one of the drivers and both vehicles had to be towed. Village police responded, along with EMS and Ridgewood Engine Company #35. Boyd A. Ridgewood's Felina Reopens For Outdoor Dining: Here's The Menu
The long-awaited reopening of Felina in Ridgewood is here. Helmed by renowned chef Anthony Bucco, the contemporary Italian restaurant has been closed for more than four months due to COVID-19. The restaurant will open with a limited menu for outdoor dining on its sidewalk Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tables will also be available on Prospect Street Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. The rooftop bar will be open by Labor Day, Bucco said. : Fair Lawn PD Nabs Habitual Paterson Offender Wanted In Glen Rock
Two Fair Lawn police officers nabbed a repeat offender who they said was carrying a Gucci wallet, credit cards, identification and nearly $500 in cash stolen from a car parked in a Glen Rock resident’s driveway. Authorities suspect that Emmanuel Bernard, a 30-year-old Dominican national who lives in Paterson, also took a cell phone, sunglasses and gaming cartridges, as well as shoes and clothing, much of which Glen Rock police recovered. Man In Ridgewood Trailer Seriously Injured When SUV Slams Into It
A man was seriously injured after an SUV slammed into a parked utility trailer he was in Wednesday afternoon in Ridgewood. Tow trucks removed the Toyota SUV and the trailer, which had been parked on Prospect Street when it was struck. The victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center by Glen Rock EMS.
