Pitbulls In Zip-Tied Metal Cage Abandoned In North Jersey Park Police in Morris County are seeking the person responsible for abandoning two pitbulls in a crate in a local park. The two female dogs were found together in a black, metal cage on Sunday, Oct. 29, in Port Morris Park in Roxbury, the Morris County Sheriff James Gannon said. The top of the cage was covered with a red blanket and the cage itself, was secured and held together with zip ties and a ratchet strap. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for anyone who can offer information. Call 973-COP-CALL with tips.

Meet The Meatballs: Pitbulls Abandoned In Bloomfield Park Need Fur-Ever Family Meet the Meaballs: A pair of pitbulls recently found in a Bloomfield park are ready for a home together. The girls were found in the Watsessing Dog Park last month and do everything together. "That’s right, the Meatballs are bonded and must go home together," the Bloomfield Animal Shelter said.  "We aren’t sure if they’re related or just close pals, but it is clear that they LOVE each other and wouldn’t do well split up."
