One of two men stabbed during an argument at an Elizabeth NJ Transit station walked into the Elizabeth police station and collapsed on Sunday evening, authorities said. The two men boarded the train at Newark Penn Station when an argument broke out with another passenger, NJ Transit spokesman Paul Milo said. Man's Body Found In Stairwell Of Morristown Train Station
Authorities were investigating after a man's body was found at the Morristown train station overnight Sunday. The unidentified man's body was found around 12:30 a.m. on a stairwell at the Morris Street station, Acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said alongside local and county authorities. The incident was being investigated as a homicide, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. UPDATE: The woman's name was released Thursday. Click here for more. A Dover-bound NJ Transit train struck and killed a person in South Orange Wednesday, a spokeswoman for the agency said. Morris & Essex 6225, which left Penn Station New York shortly before noon, struck the person, described only as a female trespasser, at around 12:30 p.m. at Mountain Station. Man Pleads Guilty To Beating Up Pregnant Bus Driver In Elizabeth
A 39-year-old Union resident pleaded guilty to assaulting a pregnant NJ Transit bus driver, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement. Andre Dawson III attacked the woman around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 28 while the bus was traveling in Elizabeth at Broad Street and Westfield Avenue. The woman suffered bumps, cuts and bruises in the attack. She was treated at Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
