Liam Payne Leaves Behind Harrington Park Influencer Girlfriend Liam Payne, the member of boy band One Direction who died in a fall from a hotel balcony on Tuesday, Oct. 16 leaves behind a girlfriend with New Jersey roots. The former "What Makes You Beautiful" singer, 31, was on a trip to Argentina when he died, as reported by CNN. He and Kate Cassidy, 25, an influencer who hails from Bergen County, reportedly began dating in 2022, and began posting photos of each other on social media.
