Did You Buy Them? 100,000 Pounds Of Chicken Products Recalled
The USDA has announced the latest recall of nearly 100,000 pounds of a popular chicken product due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. VICS Acquisition, based out of Texas, announced that it is recalling 99,975 pounds of products that may contain eggs, which was not declared on the product’s label. Items recalled include the Happi Foodi Bloody Mary Inspired Chicken, Southeast Grocers Brand Marsala Chicken and Southeast Grocers Brand Mediterranean Herb Chicken items were produced from Aug. 7 through Oct.15 last year. : Perdue's Organic Chicken Nuggets May Contain Wood Chips
Perdue Foods and the USDA have recalled 68,244 pounds of frozen, fully-cooked organic gluten-free chicken nuggets that may contain wood. The recall is isolated to Perdue Simply Smart Organics brand Gluten Free chicken breast nuggets after customers called in saying they found pieces of wood in the chicken. The nuggets were produced in October 2018 with a "Best If Used By Date" of Oct. 25, 2019 and UPC product bar code of 72745-80656. The package also lists an Establishment number of "P-33944." Four Varieties Of Goldfish Crackers Recalled Due To Salmonella Risk
Whey powder in a seasoning used in four varieties of Gold Fish crackers has resulted in a recall by the manufacturer due to the potential presence of Salmonella. Norwalk-based Gold Fish parent company Pepperidge Farm initiated an investigation and is voluntarily issuing the recall out of an abundance of caution, it said.
