Ceci was born Nov. 8, 1936, in Greenwich to Giuseppe and Angelina Ceci of Cos Cob. He attended Greenwich High School, where he was a standout in football. He graduated in 1956.  He originally worked in the construction industry then eventually took a a job with New York Graphic Society in Greenwich.
