Northern Valley RHS Old Tappan Junior Prom Info Session For Parents

OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan is holding a mandatory meeting for parents who have juniors planning on attending the prom on Wednesday, March 2.

Parents will participate in a panel discussion featuring speakers from Families Anonymous, alumni in recovery, municipal judges, student assistance coordinators, and school administrators. Discussions will involve awareness of liabilities regarding pre-prom parties, appropriate conduct before and during the prom, and activities that frequently occur after the prom.

All NVOT students attending the Junior Prom also will be required to attend a pre-prom program on Friday, March 18 prior to attending the prom later that evening.

Additional evening parent programs will be offered in May at both high schools for parents whose children plan to attend the Senior Proms.
