Haworth Dinner Beefs Up Local Charities' Coffers

HAWORTH, N.J. -- The Woman's Club of Haworth is hosting its charity all-you-can-eat beefsteak dinner on Saturday, Oct. 22, with Nightingale Catering doing the cooking.

The event also features entertainment by a USO Show Troupe, a door prize, 50/50 raffle and gift basket raffles. Folks are invited to bring their own soda, beer and wine if they wish.

Profits from the dinner will support local charities and the Woman's Club's Scholarship Fund.

The prepaid tickets are $40, and they're available at Haworth Apothecary, 169 Terrace St., or by calling Kathy Nakashian at 201-385-2073.

The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., with the doors opening at 6:15 p.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 102 Park St., in Haworth.
