A Trenton resident admitted driving the getaway car for a stickup man who robbed a string of convenience stores at gunpoint in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A 38-year-old DUI driver was sentenced Friday to 19 ½ to 39 years in state prison for his role in a high-speed crash that killed two people and seriously injured two others on I-95 nearly two years ago, authorities said. Kevin R. Peters was convicted by a Bucks County jury last month of two counts each of third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle while DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, and related charges. Federal authorities slapped a detainer on a West New York resident accused of shooting a man in the back in Cliffside Park two weeks ago. Josue Orellana, 18, was brought Thursday to the Bergen County Jail following extradition proceedings in Pennsylvania, where he was captured on Sept. 11 by a strike force led by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. A West New York resident accused of shooting a man in the back in Cliffside Park last month was captured Wednesday in Pennsylvania by a strike force led by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
