Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Ex-Suffolk County Youth Soccer Coach Accused Of Sending Sexually Explicit Messages To Girl A former youth soccer on Long Island has been charged for allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a 13-year-old. The victim’s mother called 911 on Monday, Aug. 5, to report her daughter had been sent sexually explicit messages from the man.  An investigation by Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers and detectives determined Kyle Justin Bradbury sent inappropriate messages to the minor in April. Strong Winds From Debby Knock Out Power To Thousands On Long Island Strong gusty winds of around 40 to 50 miles per hour from Tropical Depression Debby have left thousands without power on Long Island. At around 5:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, more than 4,400 customers were in the dark, and 202 active outages were reported. Most of those without power are in Nassau County (2,854). Suffolk County has 1,123 customers reporting the loss of electricity, with 539 in the Rockaway Peninsula.
