Stratford Police Arrest Suspected Heroin Dealer STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford Police have arrested a Bridgeport man suspected of being a major heroin dealer, according to the Connecticut Post. Victor Arce, 50, was taken into custody on Monday, June 20, and charged with three counts of sale of heroin and one count of operating a drug factory, the Connecticut Post said. The arrest follows a three-month investigation after police began receiving information that Arce was allegedly selling heroin throughout Stratford, reported the Connecticut Post. DOT Restoring All Lanes On Route 8 As Stage 1 Of Bridge Project Winds Down BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Motorists will breathe a sigh of relief when the Stage 1 Crossover phase of the road project on Route 8 and 25 in Bridgeport is completed on Saturday, the Connecticut Department of Transportation announced. The work involved includes the rehabilitation and/or replacement of four bridge structures on Route 8 in Bridgeport (over Capitol Avenue and Lindley Street), as well as the widening of the Exit 4 northbound off-ramp and Lindley Street.
