Joe Gomez has worked in news rooms all across the world.

He started as a radio news reporter at Newsradio 850 KOA in Denver shortly after leaving the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gomez then went on to work as a reporter in Seattle, Houston, Dallas and Washington DC, where he was a National Correspondent for NBC News Radio.

He has appeared on National Television in the US, the UK and in Pakistan as a reporter and commentator.

Maryland Man Kills Stepson In New Years Day Fight: Police A man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of his stepson in Clinton, according to police. Marcel Frazier, Sr., 45, has been arrested for fatally shooting his stepson, Aaron Wilson-Frazier, 25, on New Year's Day, according to Prince George's County Police. Investigators say Wilson-Frazier was gunned down during a fight at the family's home in the 600 block of Plata Street. Authorities ID Victim Killed In 'Good Luck Road' Crash The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating a fatal collision in Lanham. Gladys Addrah, 65, of Upper Marlboro was killed in the accident that happened on Dec. 31, 2021, in the 9300 block of Good Luck Road, according to police. Addrah was a passenger in a car traveling eastbound on Good Luck Road when investigators say an SUV traveling westbound crossed over the double yellow line and crashed into the vehicle Addrah was in head-on. Lights OUT: 75,000 Maryland Residents Lose Power More than 75,000 power outages have been reported in Maryland due to the wintry weather, according to the Maryland Department of Emergency Management. The current number of outages is 75,875 but that number is expected to grow as the snow continues to fall. The snow has also cancelled hundreds of flights and closed dozens of schools in the state.

Snow Cancels Nearly 200 Flights At Baltimore Washington Airport Nearly 200 flights have been canceled at Baltimore/Washington International Airport due to snow, according to FlightAware. A total of 190 flights have been canceled into or out of BWI and another 84 flights have been delayed.
