Joe Gomez has worked in news rooms all across the world.

He started as a radio news reporter at Newsradio 850 KOA in Denver shortly after leaving the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gomez then went on to work as a reporter in Seattle, Houston, Dallas and Washington DC, where he was a National Correspondent for NBC News Radio.

He has appeared on National Television in the US, the UK and in Pakistan as a reporter and commentator.

Teen Mysteriously Struck Dead During Storm In Maryland An investigation is underway by Montgomery County Police as to how a teen died during a storm on Jan. 16, according to WUSA 9. A group of teens called 911 after one of them collapsed outside of the main gate to Montgomery College, a fire spokesman told the outlet. The teen was in full cardiac arrest when responders arrived and later died. Three Pedestrians Killed Within Hours In Separate Fatal Crashes In MoCo Three separate accidents led to the deaths of three pedestrians within hours of each other on Jan. 17 in Montgomery County, according to police. Two of the accidents are being investigated as hit-and-run crashes. Nearly 2 Dozen Displaced By Baltimore Area Fire More than 20 people were without homes after a fire tore through an apartment building in Reisterstown, according to officials. Maryland Girl Who Went Missing From School Found Safe A 15-year-old girl from Montgomery County who went missing has been found safe Jessica Gonzalez, was reported missing at John F. Man Confesses To Shooting Pro Boxer Dead On Christmas Eve In Maryland: Police A man has been arrested after confessing to killing a professional boxer on Christmas Eve -- who was driving his family to dinner, according to police. Markell Lewis, 25, of Clinton has been arrested for the fatal shooting in Temple Hills of 30-year-old Danny Kelly Jr., Prince George's County Police said.
