Northvale podiatrist from Upper Saddle River arrested on sex charge

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Northvale police have charged a 61-year-old Upper Saddle River podiatrist with grabbing a patient’s breasts before an exam.

Fred M. Weintraub was released pending a Municipal Court hearing on charges of criminal sexual contact, Police Chief Vincent St. Angelo said.

Police arrested Weintraub on Tuesday after the woman alerted them.

She told them the assault occurred in the examination room at Alpine Northern Valley Podiatry before a scheduled exam, St. Angelo said.
