Village and Ho-Ho-Kus police responded to the Franklyn’s Pharmacy on Warren Avenue in Ho-Ho-Kus after the distraight woman called them around 2:45 p.m.
She said she’d been told to await further instructions from someone who’d purported to have kidnapped her husband.
Police found him safe and sound, however. As officers interviewed her, he drove up.
Both departments were investigating.
