BREAKING NEWSP ONLY ON CLIFFVIEW PILOT: A drunk driver smashed his car into another on Route 17 Friday afternoon, killing an 80-year-old Bergen County woman, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said early this morning. Dorothy E. Scordato of Allendale was still behind the wheel of her 2005 Honda Element when emergency workers found her and rushed her to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, where she died of her injuries a short time later, Molinelli said. Molinelli’s fatal accident unit and members of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office were still dealing with the aftermath and investigation of the crash, which occurred just before 2 p.m. Friday. Check back with CLIFFVIEW PILOT for more details.
