Antone LaSala, 80, Saddle River Resident

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- Antone LaSala -- a resident of Saddle River, formerly of Cliffside Park -- died Friday, June 17. He was 80.

LaSala graduated from the Fordham University School of Pharmacy and worked for Rite Aid as a pharmacist and division manager in the tri-state area for 25 years. During his tenure he was appointed to the New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy.

He was a parishioner of St Gabriel's Church, in Saddle River.

LaSala is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lucille (LoRusso) LaSala; children Michael LaSala, Natalie and her husband John McNaught, Geraldine LaSala, and Christine LaSala; grandchildren Antonia and David McNaught, Victoria LaSala and Ava LaSala; and sister Maryann Buruchian.

Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, June 20, at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., in Wyckoff. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Gabriel's Church, 88 E. Saddle River Rd., in Saddle River.
