But all Rob, Deena, and twins Aiden and Kyle see is an opportunity to thank those who have helped them through the year — Deena's second bout of breast cancer.
"I think between Daily Voice, People Magazine and CBS we thanked everyone," Rob said.
"But how do you thank everyone?" Deena added.
Last year, dozens turned out to help the family decorate. This year, they did it themselves — but friends say they would've been more than happy to pitch in.
"I feel like whenever you need them, they're right there," said Tonia Seiler, whose husband went to high school with Rob.
"If I picked up the phone they'd be there for me in two seconds," added neighbor Anne Purvin, teary-eyed.
Deena does something special every year on her sons' birthday, Seiler said.
"She has all of the guests bring donations for the [Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc.]," Seiler said. "It teaches the boys and their friends to give back."
