NJ Native Dies After Pennsylvania Crash, Coroner Says One driver died from his injuries after a crash in Palmer Township on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, officials say.  Joseph R. Hoagland, 68, suffered a medical emergency that led to a wreck in the parking lot of the William Penn Highway Weis, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Hoagland, of Wilson Borough, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital - Anderson Campus where he passed from blunt force chest injuries on Wednesday, Jan. 31, authorities said. Police Seek Witnesses To Lehigh Valley Hit-And-Run Crash Police are seeking witnesses to a Lehigh Valley hit-and-run crash that seriously damaged another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle shown above was the victim of a hit-and-run crash at William Penn Highway and Emrick Boulevard around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, Bethlehem Township Police said on Sunday, August 14. The offending vehicle fled east toward Route 33 and likely has front passenger side damage, police said. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Ptl. The William Penn Highway exit will close for an emergency repair at 7 p.m. and will remain closed for at least 24 hours, Bethlehem Township Police said.
