Motorcyclist, 28, Killed In Route 287 Crash
A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Whitehouse Station was killed in a crash on Route 287 in Bridgewater on Thursday, June 27, authorities said. At 7:36 p.m., a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Mazen Alnaser was traveling north on Route 287 when it exited the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail, ejecting him, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Alnaser's motorcycle then continued north and struck the back of a Madza, Marchan said. Alnaser was pronounced dead at the scene, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Racing Paramus Motorcyclist, 29, Killed In NY Crash, State Police Say
A 29-year-old Paramus man died while racing his motorcycle on I-87 in Westchester County, NY, authorities said. Frank Mahouti was heading northbound on a 2018 Ducati near mile marker 3.5 in Yonkers when he failed to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed around 1 a.m. Aug. 13, NY State Trooper Tara McCormick said. UPDATE: Authorities have the hit-and-run vehicle that struck and killed a 20-year-old wedding guest from Massachusetts outside a popular Route 17 catering hall Saturday night. A 57-year-old motorcyclist from Garfield was killed in a crash Wednesday night on northbound Route 17 in Paramus, authorities said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred after the rider lost control of his Harley Davidson outside the McDonald's near East Ridgewood Avenue and hit a guardrail shortly before 8 p.m., Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg confirmed. A Somerset County man was struck and killed on Route 202 in Branchburg Township Monday night, authorities said. Responders found the Montvale resident in cardiac arrest, bleeding from a traumatic head wound, in the northbound lane of Chestnut Ridge Road a little more than 50 yards from the border, Police Chief Joseph Sanfilippo said. A 25-year-old motorcyclist from Union County died when he collided with a car on Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania, authorities said. Randy Reyes-Jaquez of Elizabeth was headed northbound in Bucks County at a high speed when he crossed in front of a car also trying to take the same exit around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Pennsylvania State Police said. Stuart Kahlenberg, a practicing CPA, was struck around 6:40 p.m. while crossing Hamburg Turnpike near Mountain Ridge Drive, they said. West New York Man, 22, Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Turnpike In Secaucus
A West New York man was killed when he struck a guardrail on the New Jersey Turnpike with his motorcycle Saturday, State Police said. Agustin G. Amendola, 22, was leaving the Turnpike at Exit 16E in Secaucus around 10:40 a.m. when he hit the guardrail and was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene. In a tragic coincidence, he is one of two young men killed on the Turnpike Saturday from Hudson County. A North Bergen man, also aged 22, died in a crash in Burlington County later that day.

A Dover High School student who was struck by a car leaving a football game died of his injuries a week later. Steven Gomez-Restrepo was in a medically-induced coma at Morristown Medical Center since the Sept. 13 incident on Route 46 in Rockaway. He died Sept. 21 at 15 years old. Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With Car On Route 20 In Paterson
A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a sedan on southbound Route 20 in Paterson early Saturday evening, authorities said. Miguel Soto, 30, of Paterson was pronounced dead a half hour after his 2008 Honda CBR made contact with a 2008 Acura MDX driven by a 70-year-old Wayne man and spun out near Park Avenue, authorities said Sunday.
