Morris Township Police Investigate How Burglary Suspect Freed Himself From Custody Authorities are trying to figure out how a 24-year-old man accused of burglarizing a Morris Township home initially escaped from police custody Wednesday night. Theophilu Timothy of Budd Lake is accused of taking food and other small items from the Mount Kemble Avenue home around 9 p.m., Morris Township Police Lt. Robert Shearer said. Timothy somehow freed himself from custody but was apprehended by police shortly after, Shearer said. He was charged with burglary, theft and escape from detention.
