Former Florham Park Firefighter, 22, Killed In Hunter Mountain Ski Accident
A 22-year-old volunteer firefighter from Florham Park was killed after he fell while skiing at Hunter Mountain in New York, authorities said. Robert Vrablik was on the Twilight trail with his sister and a friend when he fell and landed on his face and chest around 3 p.m. Saturday, New York State Police said. Vrablik was responsive while being taken to Albany Medical Center but declared dead at 7:18 p.m., police said. Cardiac contusion was the cause of death, the DailyFreeman reports. Morris Police Bust Massive Underage Drinking Party, Homeowner Charged
A Morris Township homeowner was charged after police found nearly 70 minors drinking alcohol at his house over the weekend, authorities said. Cesar Quispe told police he was unaware of the Friday night party at his Pembroke Place home, where Police Chief Mark DiCarlo said officers responding to a medical alert call found 69 juveniles drinking alcohol.
