Wanted PA Man Captured At Morris County Hospital Following Companion's Complaint: Police
A wanted man from Pennsylvania was caught at a Morris County hospital after his companion contacted police to discuss the services she received, the department said. The Denville Township Police Department responded to a service complaint at Saint Clare’s Hospital around 1:40 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said in a release. Officers spoke with the woman and found that her companion — Austin K. Heinly, of New Tripoli, PA — had an active NCIC warrant out of the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, Tucker added. A 67-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a Costco Wholesale store in Morris County, authorities said. The man was hit while walking through the lot of the Wharton store shortly after 11:30 a.m., Wharton Police Lt. William Hamilton told DailyVoice.com. The man was taken to Saint Clare’s Hospital in Dover for treatment of minor injuries, Hamilton said. The driver, a 69-year-old Sparta woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation following the accident, authorities said.

: 8 Saint Clare’s ER Patients Evacuated Due To Mechanical Fire, Heavy Smoke
Eight patients were evacuated from the emergency room of Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville due to heavy smoke conditions from a mechanical fire Monday afternoon, authorities said. The fire broke out in an air handler on the roof due to a mechanical failure around 12 p.m. Monday, Denville Police Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said. Once the fire was doused, the heavy smoke spread through a portion of the building and led to patients’ evacuation, Tucker said. New Jersey Senate Republican Conference Leader Anthony R. Bucco (R-Morris) died Monday. He was 81 years old. Bucco died of a heart attack at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville, a spokesperson for the family said in a statement. A Boonton native, Bucco served in the New Jersey New Jersey Senate since 1998 representing the 25th Legislative District. Bucco served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1957 to 1965. The Morris County Hazardous Materials unit was called to a Parsippany home after an officer responding to a call had a physical reaction to cleaning products, authorities said.
