Wanted PA Man Captured At Morris County Hospital Following Companion's Complaint: Police A wanted man from Pennsylvania was caught at a Morris County hospital after his companion contacted police to discuss the services she received, the department said. The Denville Township Police Department responded to a service complaint at Saint Clare’s Hospital around 1:40 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said in a release. Officers spoke with the woman and found that her companion — Austin K. Heinly, of New Tripoli, PA — had an active NCIC warrant out of the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, Tucker added. Man, 67, Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Parking Lot Of Morris County Costco (Update) A 67-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in the parking lot of a Costco Wholesale store in Morris County, authorities said. The man was hit while walking through the lot of the Wharton store shortly after 11:30 a.m., Wharton Police Lt. William Hamilton told DailyVoice.com. The man was taken to Saint Clare’s Hospital in Dover for treatment of minor injuries, Hamilton said. The driver, a 69-year-old Sparta woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation following the accident, authorities said.

The fire broke out in an air handler on the roof due to a mechanical failure around 12 p.m. Monday, Denville Police Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said. Once the fire was doused, the heavy smoke spread through a portion of the building and led to patients’ evacuation, Tucker said.
