Dogs Freeze In Crate Abandoned Outside Of Mount Olive Supermarket: Authorities
Two pit bulls were found outside in a crate behind a shopping center in freezing temperatures in Mt. Olive on Sunday, Jan. 21, Common Sense for Animals said on Facebook. The two dogs, one female and one male, were found on Goldmine Road and Tanglewood Road with a blanket over the crate so no one would see the dogs, Common Sense for Animals Said. There was no food or water provided for the dogs, Common Sense for Animals said. Mt. Morris Plains Police Chief Michael Koroski was off-duty when he witnessed a devastating crash and rushed to revive the unconscious driver with NARCAN. The Musconetcong Lodge #42 F. & A.M. presented Chief Koroski with the prestigious “Police Officer of the Year" award Wednesday for his heroic actions following the March 9, 2021 crash. “The award is presented to a police officer that has gone above and beyond during a time that most have pulled back from what is done,” Morris Plains Police said.
