Firearm Recovered, 3 In Custody Following Morris County Police Pursuit Through Backyards A firearm was recovered and three suspects were in custody after leading police on a wild chase through Morris County yards overnight, authorities said. It began around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, when Parsippany officers responded to an attempted vehicle break-in on Prospect Road, Parsippany Police Sgt. Brian Conover said. While there, the Parsippany Police Department's Communication Center was notified of a crash near Marmora and Frontage roads. SEE Anything? Parsippany PD Seek Pick-Up Truck Driver Who Damaged Guardrail, Took Off Authorities are seeking the driver who crashed their pick-up truck into a Parsippany guardrail and fled the scene. A newer-model Chevrolet pick-up truck lost a mirror and sustained damage to the front end and driver's side after hitting the guardrail at the intersection of Lake Shore Drive and Marmora Road between Thursday evening and early Friday morning, police said.
