On Saturday, March 18, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Hackettstown police responded to Lowe's Home Improvement, 217 Mountain Ave, for a report of man knocking on car windows asking people for money and asking pedestrians for money, police said. An officer observed Frank Vizthum, 53, of Hackettstown knocking on a car window. Vizthum was charged with disorderly conduct and released pending a court appearance, police said. Hackettstown Lowe's Panhandler Charged An accused panhandler was charged over the weekend outside Lowe's Home Improvement in Hackettstown. On Sunday, Feb. 26, at approximately 7:27 a.m., Hackettstown police responded to 217 Mountain Ave, for a report of a man asking people outside Lowe's for money, police said. The man was identified as Frank Vizthum, 53, of Hackettstown, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct. Vizthum was then released pending a court appearance

Police: Newark Men Shoplifted $1,400 From Morris County Lowe’s Two Newark men were caught on surveillance footage stealing around $1,400 in merchandise from a Morris County Lowe’s home improvement store, authorities charged. Eric Brown, 49, and Alaric Osorio, 42, are accused of removing items from the shelves at the E. Hanover Ave. store in Morris Plains and leaving without paying for them on Feb. 3, Hanover police said. Brown and Osorio were issued summonses for shoplifting and conspiracy and are scheduled to appear in court.

Police: Morris County Woman, 43, Took Receipts From Lowe’s Parking Lot Trash, Returned For Cash A Morris County woman was caught taking receipts out of trash cans at a local Lowe’s Home Improvement store and returning items for cash numerous times over the past several months, police said. Penny M. Bellomi, 43, was seen removing receipts from trash cans in the parking lot of Lowe’s in Flanders on several occasions between July 30 and Dec. 8, Mount Olive Police said. Bellomi, of Netcong, would then pick out the items listed on the receipts and return them for cash inside the store, police said. Bellomi was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with five counts of theft by deception. She was rel…
