Residents Displaced By Long Valley Apartment Fire Several residents were displaced by a fire that damaged a Washington Township apartment complex earlier this week, authorities said. Firefighters responding to the Peachtree Apartments in Long Valley found smoke inside of a first-floor apartment on Thursday, March 10 around 8:10 p.m., police said. Adjacent buildings were evacuated as crews battled the blaze, which rose to a second alarm. The fire was contained to the apartment of origin.
