Pair Hospitalized After Vehicle Flips On Rt. 78 In Hunterdon County Two people were taken to a local hospital after a vehicle flipped onto its roof on Route 78 in Hunterdon County Sunday morning, Sept. 17, responders said. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded to the crash on the westbound side in Readington and found the vehicle upside-down with one occupant still trapped inside. Fire crews from Whitehouse and Oldwick assisted in extricating the remaining occupant and stabilizing the vehicle before EMS professionals from Hunterdon Health transported two patients to nearby hospitals for additional evaluation and treatment.

Allen Carns’s wife, Penny, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 4, one day before the couple’s 12th anniversary, according to a GoFundMe launched by Chris Ryan, Director of Hunterdon MICU.
