Community Rallies To Save Sick Cats Found In Filthy Pickup Truck In Sussex County Animal lovers across Sussex County and beyond are coming together to raise vet expenses for several sick cats who were rescued from a Virginia woman's pickup truck in filthy conditions earlier this week. The felines — eight of them, to be exact — were tragically found alongside 38 dogs and 40 dead animals in the cab of an abandoned Chevy Silverado in the parking lot of a Marshall's Department store on Hampton House Road in Hampton Township on Monday, April 9, Daily Voice reported.
