Split Storms Combine: Brace For 4 Inches Of Rain This Weekend In NJ, PA, Forecasters Say All of New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia are under a flood watch ahead of one big rain storm, or a combination of two different storms that will combine and head to the region this weekend. Between two and four inches of rain are expected to fall between late Friday night, March 22 and Saturday evening, March 23 before tapering off, according to the National Weather Service. Snow Showers Could End Weekend Storm In Morris County, Flood Watch Issued: NWS A weekend of rain could end in snow in parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service. A flood watch for much the region from 1 p.m. Saturday through through Sunday evening as a low-pressure storm is set to bring up to drop two inches of rainfall, according to the NWS.
