A 36-year-old Denville resident was arrested and charged with being under the influence while instructing young children on Monday, March 25, police said. Police responded to KimSwims at 424 Route 46 West after receiving a report Kyle Cooper was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said. Cooper was arrested and charged with endangering another person, a disorderly persons offense, police said. He was issued a complaint summons and given an upcoming court date, police said. Attorney: NJ Man Accused Of Scalding Cashier With Coffee Was 'Painted As Monster'
The lawyer of a man accused of scalding a gas station cashier with hot coffee has released a statement on behalf of his client who for weeks has been petitioning to make mask-wearing unlawful. John DeDolce, 42, of Randolph was issued a summons for simple assault, endangering another person and violating an executive order following the August 7 incident, which occurred at the QuickChek on Ridgedale Avenue in Cedar Knolls.
