The Route 10 store opened bright and early Thursday, May 18, offering free Wawa’s coffee for its first 100 customers, as well as promotional t-shirts reading, 'Coffee, Hoagies, Kindness.' The grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony also included a meet-and-greet with former soccer player Bradley Wright-Phillips, an appearance by the “freestyle crew,” and, of course, a photo-op with Wawa's mascot, Wally Goose. The ribbon-cutting takes place at 9 a.m., followed by a  a Hoagies for Heroes sandwich-making contest between Fairfield police officers and Fairfield firefighters. Koffeewagon Roasters, which opened on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights in January 2016, will be coming to Bergen Boulevard, BoozyBurbs reports. The coffeeshop was named Best in New Jersey by Cosmopolitan and USA Today. KWR owner Bruce Juan Pettineo roasts and brews on-site.
