The Peterbilt dump truck was heading west near milepost 36.6 when the driver lost directional control and subsequently overturned onto an Infiniti passenger vehicle at 9:20 a.m. in Rockaway, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said.
The driver and passenger of the Infiniti sustained minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital, McNair said. The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.
