The "Hope For Henry" GoFundMe campaign had raised more than $60,200 as of Friday evening for Henry Aulenbach, who recently underwent surgery to remove his brain tumor.

Henry's parents Chrissie and Dave Aulenbach -- described on the page as integral members of the community -- brought their elementary schooler to the hospital as he had been suffering from severe headaches. Doctors found the brain tumor, along with some spots on his spine, according to the GoFundMe, launched by Stephanie Coleman.

Henry recently underwent surgery to remove the tumor -- but faces a long road ahead.

Chrissie describes her son in this way: "Henry is a wonderful boy with a lot of inner strength. He loves to be a good friend and helper and loves making others happy. He likes bossing around his older brothers and buttering up his dad! He's as sweet in real life as he is in pictures."

The GoFundMe will assist the Aulenbach family with medical care and bills.

"Of course," Coleman wrote, "prayers and good thoughts for Henry are also greatly appreciated."
