More than $3,200 had been raised for Beldry Brito as of Wednesday afternoon on a GoFundMe launched by her colleague, Heather Barresse.
Barresse described Brito as an "amazingly strong" mom to her two-year-old son.
" She has already started treatments and is somehow still pushing through work to ensure her son is well taken care of," the page says.
"Our goal is to make sure that she can be as comfortable as possible while handling chemo, surgery and radiation. She has the kindest soul and should not have to worry about if she can make enough money for the month.
"She is a beautiful person both inside and out always putting other people before her. Now it’s her turn to receive all the love and support she has given."
