Todd Lansing Arrested
An Ocean County man was accused of several "smash-and-grab" burglaries along the Jersey Shore, authorities said. Todd Lansing, 46, of Brick Township, was charged with two counts each of third-degree burglary, third-degree theft, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and possession of burglary tools. The Brielle Police Department announced his charges in a news release on Thursday, Mar. 28. 'Smash And Grab' Burglars Are Back, Toms River Police Warn
A Jersey Shore police department is warning its residents about "smash and grab" burglars. "Since the beginning of June, the central and northern New Jersey areas have been hit by a group known as the 'Felony Lane Gang,'" Toms River police said. This organized group targets parking areas of public parks, gyms, and recreation areas all over New Jersey with car burglaries. Residents are warned not to leave valuables in cars.
