Serious Crash, Tractor-Trailer Fire Reported In Central Jersey There was a serious crash in Central Jersey, authorities said. A tractor-trailer also was reported on fire at the location of the crash, they said. The crash occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on Monday, May 1 on Route 440 in Woodbridge, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes south of Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway, the DOT said. An unconfirmed report said there was a fatality. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES
