Busy Garden State Parkway Exit Ramps Will Close For 9 Months Two ramps of the Garden State Parkway, at Exit 105, will close in April for nine months of upgrades, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority announced. A northbound entrance ramp and a southbound exit ramp in Tinton Falls will completely shut down on April 18 as a contractor replaces the decks, beams and parapets of three bridges, the authority said in a news statement. The exit is the most direct route to Long Branch beaches, Monmouth Park in Oceanport and Monmouth Mall in Eatontown. Three Seriously Injured When Pickup Truck Crashes In I-195 Mercer County Construction Zone Two people standing outside their SUV on Interstate 195 in Mercer County were seriously hurt when a pickup truck collided with another truck which then struck the pedestrians, authorities said. The pickup truck driver also was hurt. All three were taken to the hospital, New Jersey State Police said. The crash occurred at 9:06 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 195 eastbound in Hamilton Township, according to Sgt.
